Very excited to announce this upcoming exhibition at Rockford City Hall! Mapping Rockford Through History. An artistic view of our city, past and present. 10 artists were asked to explore one of Rockford’s historic districts/neighborhoods and create their version of a map of that area. In addition to the artists’ work will be photography of each neighborhood by Peter J Swanson and video of the artists’ experience along with the hanging of the show by Neil Bloom. The show will hang from September 8th through October 6th and will have a closing reception on Friday night of Fall ArtScene! Artists

Zero Waste Masquerade Gala

EARTH Zero Waste and Flaunt Productions present: Zero Waste Masquerade Gala.  Join us on Saturday, October 21st from 6-11 PM at 317 West Jefferson, home of Future Memory Medua, as we party “zero waste” style in costumes and masks made from repurposed items.  We will have a runway where you can flaunt your ensemble and a costume contest with prizes from EARTH Zero Waste.  There will be a candy bar (and regular bar) where you can trick, treat, and dance the night away to music from DJLooy.  We will also have raffles for prizes and cash.
